March 1, 2008 - InTranS Group wins contract for new Electronic Toll System

Autopistas de Puerto Rico announced its decision today to award its toll systems and maintenance support contract to InTranS Group of New York. InTranS will be in charge of the turn-key supply of the new tolling system for the Teodoro Moscoso Bridge, operated by Autopistas de Puerto Rico.

The Teodoro Moscoso Bridge connects the cities of San Juan and Carolina, in Puerto Rico; crossing the San José Lagoon. The bridge - named after famous politician Teodoro Moscoso - is part of the course for the "World's Best 10K" annual road race.
