Comprehensive Integrated Toll Systems
InTranS FastFlowTM
InTranS FastFlowTM toll system architecture integrates LC32TM toll application processes at the lane and a variety of software applications at the Plaza and Host levels. Traditional InTranS FastflowTM toll collection systems include barrier based manual, automatic (coin machine), and electronic toll collection (ETC) lanes. FastflowTM also operates in ORT (Open Road Tolling) mode for unobstructed highway speed ETC tolling to capture transactions and violation images at over 100MPH with precision and reliability.
Within each toll lane, InTranS FastflowTM toll systems integrate numerous devices and subsystems under the control of an LC32TM computer lane controller to coordinate and manage each toll transaction. These devices include light curtains, overhead lasers, fiber optic and piezo axle sensors, inductive loop systems, fare displays, touch screen toll terminals, coin machines, antennas, video violation enforcement, cameras and other devices. Lane controllers communicate over high bandwidth data networks to plaza and/or host database server computers to provide real time system monitoring, on-line maintenance, and transaction/financial accounting.

InTranS provides a complete array of ongoing maintenance and support services. These services range from remote software support to full 24 by 7 on-site hardware and software support. Maintenance is performed by fully trained technicians with field offices and equipped with full compliments of tools, service vehicles, and spare parts.
InTranS provides these services for both toll and ITS systems. We manage lane closures as necessary to repair, maintain and install overhead ITS and toll equipment. At InTranS, we maintain our own systems as well as third party systems.
Our field technicians and managers are fully supported by the InTranS 24 x 7 help desk, as well as by the engineers and technicians at our New York headquarters facility.
As part of the CS

several road transport
system products
including automatic coin
machines, emergency call
box networks, and the
5.8 Ghz Melodhy ETC tag
and transponder system.
InTranS coin machines
are considered the most
rugged and durable coin
machines made, and offer
a service life often
exceeding 10 years on
even the most demanding
toll roads. The Melodhy
ETC system is installed
throughout Europe and
South America, and
thousands of InTranS-CS
automatic coin machines
are installed and
operating worldwide
including North America
and the Caribbean.
InTranS offers a widely popular refurbishment program in which coin machines are completely rebuilt and returned to service in "as new" condition and with a fully renewed warranty. We also offer upgrades for the coin machine electronics to enable them to smoothly operate in the latest and most advanced ETC toll lane systems that many earlier existing toll systems have been implementing.
